I love that illustration Svennn, a self portrait version is a must

I'm liking where this is going. :)

I would buy this! It's a great idea. TAG has their historical version, but it's well, historical. Something a little more fantastic would be great

Sombrero and poncho?

lol - now that I would like to see!

I would want a figure that could be usable in the 18th century as much as the 19th century, which poses little problem to old Vlad.

Long hair, maybe a mustache, tall, elegant build - not bulky, long fur lined coat for sure, cravat and high collar (see image), NO cape, mouth wide open fangs bared, more rustic noble than opera fan. A sheathed saber would be nice too.

Also a nice touch would be a none "vampiric" version of him, ie more human looking. Go on get to it Nic.  ;)

I second Svennn's suggestion, but with a huge Hagrid-type character as his manservant.

Uuuh!

A 'two version' thing. I like the idea of that. You could have the vampire as a 'human looking' and with fang and claw attack mode. The scenario ideas already start!

Are we still discussing the vampire thing? We could open another thread for that otherwise?  ;) ;D

Thinking out loud for starters' figures sculpted as follows:

1- Old version in long fir coat and C18/19th Clothes and boots. Long grey hair, long moustache. The book gives him pointy ears which I am not sure about. Fangs bared in threatening pose.

2- old version lying in coffin/crate.

3- Younger version in Victorian attire with long overcoat with fir collar and cuffs, top hat, long hair and moustache. Standing, non threatening leaning on walking stick with wolfs head handle

4- Three brides of Dracula(I have a plan for these, but would you go for standing looking seductive or aggressive fangs bared?

5- A pack of loyal Szgany/ gypsies with swords, knives and muskets.

6- male/female Vampires recently turned, dressed in Victorian clothes. Aggressive feral poses fanged bared etc.

Then I will look at the Vampire hunters. What do you think so far, thoughts/ideas/comments?

Sounds cool - not sure about the pointy ears either?

2- old version lying in coffin/crate.

Great, but make him removable so we can stick him in other things/places.

3- Younger version in Victorian attire with long overcoat with fir collar and cuffs, top hat, long hair and moustache. Standing, non threatening leaning on walking stick with wolfs head handle

Sounds nice.

4- Three brides of Dracula(I have a plan for these, but would you go for standing looking seductive or aggressive fangs bared?

Awesome, but got to be fangs bared - then of course a set of seductive would be cool too.

5- A pack of loyal Szgany/ gypsies with swords, knives and muskets.

Oh yes please, the more the merrier.

6- male/female Vampires recently turned, dressed in Victorian clothes. Aggressive feral poses fanged bared etc.

Sounds good too.

Ok Nick - sounds sorted mate.  ;)

This all sounds excellent Nick. I'm assuming they would be the size of your Boot Hill figures? Would that mean they'd be ok with West Wind, Foundry, etc?

Yep, 28s compatible with most other ranges.

After Matthew has finished the latest Boot Hill sculpts I'll ask him if he is interested in doing these.
