Getting back to the cavalry - can anyone confirm if they are equipped with carbines or other firearms?  It's hard to tell from the photos, but it doesn't look like they are packing anything other than swords/lances but I'd appreciate confirmation.

Blue, which became a blue-grey colour in the sun very quickly from what I can recall.

Same colour as was used in the Crimea and the Zulu War.
