I shall have to get these at some point. Without a doubt.

They must have a devil of a time putting those little vests on!

I was thinking that and also wondering why they would bother.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Yep. The vests are the only thing I dislike about these. Without the vests they could fit so many more themes.

Interesting. No idea why I would need them but I want to need them... lol
That was very well said, and expresses my own feelings exactly.

Although -  pitting them against supers usually covers anything, so there's one need already  :D

I do like the ones with hands better than the ones with claws.  That said, is there any explanation for the clothes?  Naked winged baboons might be more useful to me than the ones in clothes.

I'm pretty sure the cloths are a callback to the flying monkeys from wizard of oz.

I really like these sculpts except for the vests.  They make what could be menacing monsters far too comical for me to use unless I was going to play some dark version of Disney's Aladdin.

Huh, guess I'm in the minority, because I don't mind the vests, and the one with the lobster claws is by far my favorite of the bunch.  It adds to the menacing and fantastical nature of the creatures.  Works for me, because I would want them as either demons or a science-experiment-gone-wrong.

They remind me of the Wizard of Oz, only these flying monkeys are actually really scary.

Great job on them!
