The bases are pretty big. Why pixelate the GW minis? You are allowed to photograph your own GW stuff and use it for scale comparison.

Yes, they have token slots in so needed to be fairly large. GW can be unpredictable at best when it comes to cease and desists. I've had friends in the industry get them for scale shot photos. As an impoverished artist type I thought it best to be on the safe side and avoid any unexpected legal fees.

Only thing holding me back here is the size of the human figures. I may cave in, though...

Also it's bleepin' hilarious to see a fuzzed-out space marine next to Jason's obviously superior miniatures.

Sorry if this has been stated somewhere, but what is the recommended table size for the game?

No worries, It's actually pretty easy going and works fine on pretty much any table size. Serving suggestion would be around 3x3 as that's what I usually play on, but anything bigger than 2x2 you should be ok with. Generally as long as there's enough space to have a 12" strip between deployments at the start you'll be fine. You'd probably want a larger table for a big game of say 20 figures a side, but only because you'd struggle to fit them on the board lol

No worries! You can use whatever bases you want. The token slot bases are a luxury not a necessity. :)

Little update for you guys - some new figures!

First up and soon to be unlocked we have the LOWbot! This mischievous droid, usually seen enthusiastically rummaging through important looking tech, will soon be waddling into your pledge! Once we hit 150 backers every pledge of Brawl and above will get this Kickstarter exclusive figure for free!

Not only is there a new stretch goal, there are some new add ons too!

The Lunar Coalition mediators are rightly feared for their slightly over zealous negotiation techniques. This may have something to do with the liberal application of their infamous tesla truncheons.

And desperate times call for questionable measures with this trio of Civvies!

It's the final countdown! The last hours of the Wasteman Kickstarter are upon us and we're getting really close to funding! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2032267828/wasteman-a-game-of-desperate-conflicts-in-a-desola

I've cut the Survivor subscriber in half! Now it’s just £750 for everything on the kickstarter and one of every wasteman figure I’ll ever produce!

And check out Xam the bounty hunter, unlocked after 200 backers!

A cold and calculating alien bounty hunter, Xam is ruthless to the last. He always gets his man/woman/mutant/thing.

WOW after a blisteringly epic day I am now FUNDED  :D and smashing through some stretch goals!

Huge, lumbering beasts, their leathery hides glistening in the moonlight, these creatures clamber from the depths. Writhing tentacles sprout from the most bafflingly improbable orifices while glassy, bulging eyes stare straight through the souls of mortal men. Their presence is made even the more horrifying by their cyclopean stench, strong enough to strike incontinence in all but the hardiest of plumbers. To even gaze upon a Murmmoth is to know madness.

Unnatural mockeries of human form, these beasts stalk silently through the shadows of the wastes, biding their time before unfolding upon their gormless prey.

A renowned scoundrel, Bagman travels the wastes in search of the gullible. Often found in his boutique of 'questionably procured' items, It's not unheard of for his customers to leave the store with fewer vital organs than they came in with.
