Lagertha VIking Minatures
« on: 20 January 2015, 03:50:05 PM »
Is there any suitable minis for Lagertha from the Vikings or other shield maidens?

I am trying to find ones that are not ridiculous Bikini armour or like some of the Foundry ones...

I've heard good things about Red-box games, but I believe they are a little "slight" in build.

RBG are more but not totaly "true scale" and considering that a lots of the Norse miniatures out there are more chunky and some even heroscale that could be some problems for some miniature lines.

But they do mix great with my collection and I really like them so I say go ahed with RBG.

Slightly under- dressed but still very decent

These are nice too but rather big 28s
Still they fit in nicely with Gripping Beast and such.

Ah, Lagertha... She is wonderful isn't she?  :-*

Silly old Ragnar, leaving her for that lanky tall bird with the lizard eyes...  ;)

In one of the episodes in series 2 Ragnar is seen lying in a bed with BOTH the lanky one and Lagertha.
Silly? Yeah right.
Throw in Kelly Reilly and that's as close to Valhalla as we'll ever get. :D

Shadowforge who are now sold through Eureka do a big range of viking gals, surely one might fit the bill.
