Hey that glowing one doesn't emit radiation does it? Hmn, I'm not sure I want to stick around here to finish my comment if it does...

* zips up Radiation Suit

...Ok, I should be fine for another few lines, but all that ticking doesn't has me a wee bit concerned (were they supposed to poke holes into this thing when they strap on all the armour?).

Ooh another Deathclaw to add to the pack Messyart's sent out. It'd be nice to see a line up of everyone's painted ones at some point. Till then that turned out great. Hmn, I like the base. Is that just polystyrene or something?

Oh I saw you post about those scorpions in the pinned thread. Is that larger one from the same source by any chance? I'm just wondering how much money you're sending those people. ...Youknow as a legitimate concern for your wallet and not just prying about where to source minis from. ...Being a concerned citizen and such.

Right I know my skin shouldn't be crackling that light and these antenna I've grown are becoming uncomfortable in this suit. ...You're sure I can't be irradiated over the internet right? Ah, Ok time to see if all those points I put into medicine were worth it (heh, my train's coming into the station in other words. Anyhow, nice to see you putting out more stuff. Great as always). :)

Oh dear, no idea why I haven't answered your post yet  ???

The base is an MDF lasercut base where I glued some sculpture block ( http://www.sculptureblock.eu ) onto and sculpted the rocky pattern. I had to do that since I mispositioned his arms when glueing and his claws come lower than his feet  ::)

Not sure which larger scorpion you mean ? My really large one is just finished and will be posted in the next message here  :D

This resin baby measures 9,5 cm from pincher to tail and comes from Pardulon miniatures.

Wow, that's realistic. I've wondered about taking casts of actual creepy crawlies (dead ones) for minis. Probably wouldn't work too well.

Latest efforts have been focused on Incursion (WWW2), but when I brought 2 office sets (Ainsty) back from a 2nd hand stand at Crisis I had to slap some paint on those desks.
I was in doubt of filing off the cables and mouse/mousepad for a more Fallout look, but decided to keep 'em as they are.

Very nice, but the PC stands out a bit now, maybe a filter or 2 to tone it down to IBM beige?

I wish I had had the time to visit the Bring and Buy at Crisis, you seem to have found the good stuff! Maybe a(nother) trip to Ainsty seems to be in order next year.

No experience with filters yet.  :?

Didn't feel like queuing in that crowd, but as luck would have it, a friend did and noticed a guy selling plasticville buildings. He knew my interested in that stuff, so he dragged me along and lo and behold, besides cheap plasticville he also sold cheap ainsty stuff  8)
It really was my deal of the day.  :D

Filters are dead easy mate, just a small smear on the pc would be sufficient and then a brush wetted down with (preferably odorless) thinner to smear that bit all across the pc will tone it down quite nicely. When in doubt, add more thinner to remove 99% of it. Give it a try, it opens a whole new painting doorway.

I wish someone would make a Fallout correct PC in resin though. I could use a dozen of those easily.

That is so FO3  ::)
now you can get lead out of them, which will come in handy once I learn how to lead-line apparel for better rad-resistance  :D
