I'm not overly familiar with Capt America, but he looks great.

I think the army fatigues and other details make him much more 'plausible', somehow.

Suddenly I have a craving to make a Watchmen team....

Excellent stuff :)

He looks great. That is the version of Cap I would like to see a movie made from.

Another one. It's getting harder and harder to find a way to make mine stand out from the rest. ;)

Especially since all of them display superior painting skills... 8)

nice... I couldn't decide what version of the shield to give him til the very last minute... I'm just more familiar with the round one...

fatigues are a nice touch... when I googled for reference images, there's one of him that is not dissimilar in appearance....

although.... what happened to the gun barrel?

Actually, I do have an idea for him, it's just that it won't be Cap anymore... Dilemma...

That is really cool! That would be the correct shield for the WWII version. Cap didn't get the round shield until later, I think when he joined the Avengers.
What figure did you use?

Well... it depends on which version you're reading.  He's been portrayed with both during WWII.  (for example, he's drawn with the round one in "The Invaders" comics).  But, I  agree that the um...shield shaped (?) one looks more retro.

WK

You can give him USMC camo pants.  Captain America fought in the Pacific during the Golden Age with the other Invaders.  Maybe since you've been doing the green stuff of late you could give him a helmet with the camo cover on it.

Might look pretty cool,
Brian

I'm reserving the helmet for the "Ultimate" WW2 cap version I'll be converting. I have a couple ideas for this one, it just might stray too far from the original.
