I can see why you want it as generic as possible.
Maybe some general app period clutter with some smaller period/genre specific piles that can be added or removed as wanted.

Yeah that didn't really happen... And playability was huge in my mind since a figure only just squeezes in between the buildings. So it's a tidy shanty town that's a bit sci Fi. Not sure it will pass as OW or fantasy. :/
