3D files for Maori pa fencing now for sale
« on: 01 February 2015, 06:34:14 AM »
The 3D files of the Maori pa palisades designed by Printable Scenery are now for sale.

There are several variations, for example the top carvings.  And shorter fences will also be available soon.

Imagine the huge pa you'll be able to build by printing out as many of these as you can cope with!

I just did a Google search on:  3d printing "north-east" england

There's a few 3D printing services listed.  Hwever, I can't ell you how much the service will cost you in the UK.

3D printers are becoming more common-place in homes and schools, too.  You might be surprised who has a printer near you ...

I nearly invested in some of the NZ Wars range at the Empress stand at Vappa today. It was so tempting and seeing the mini's in front of me just illustrated how damn fine they were. I did manage to keep on my Camel Corp goggles though and keep focused on the Sudan.

As I've discovered over the years.... too many wargames mini's and you don't know where your head is.... or your feet!!  :D

Be sure to let us all know mate- the Pa just looks so fantastic!!  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Little bit of googling, first one found is about 10p per cm3

Printable Scenery have asked me what should be next in their Maori pa range.  I've suggested:

1) Some pieces of fence with more ornate human shaped carvings on the posts (by interspersing all the different types of post-tops, you should get a nice ragged look).

2) An ornate carved gateway.

3) Some breached pieces of palisade.

Any other suggestions for stuff related to the palisades (preferably with pics)?

Then, once the palisades are all developed, Matt tells me they'll start on buildings for the interior!
