Looking very good - here's hoping you've still got enough time.

I hope as well. ;)
I will have a busy week starting with today.

Doing the rivets this way is not a good idea if you have to hurry...

But it is done.  :)

Some minor work on the house.
Tomorrow some painting and more woodwork.

This is starting to look really good. The anvil and the bellows are particular cool. I hope you manage to get it all done in time.

Still working hard on this, the main building only needs a door and the roof (and some paint).
The workshop got the supports for the roof and walls. I took pictures, but we had a storm yesterday evening, and with second long power outages I couldn't use my computer. I was lucky enough that we didn't lose power completly. I also started painting things. I should warn you guys, I'm much better at building things, than painting them so prepare to be underwhelmed.

So this is a pic from yesterday.

And this is how things are now.

The roof needs shingles, and the building a door. Then only the painting left (I don't like that part...)
As I won't post any more pics probably here is a pic of one of my western houses roof, so you can get the idea.

Also here is this thing. I will make a few more of these and other small stuff to lively up the place :)

If my cold does not get worse, then I can finish this. Hopefully lol

Eeeekkk - lovely stuff. Part of me thinks it's a shame to cover it all with a solid roof.

Nice hand made tools, I agree that encasing the forge area with a solid roof and solid walls is a shame, as it hides your workmanship. Mine was half open along the sides and still it was dark enough inside to make it difficult to see :/

But as always, you know the detail is there. Good luck finishing it off :D

Cheers
Matt
