28mm Martini Henry Rifle...

Does anyone manufacture spare rifles? I'm doing a vignette of a British Sergeant shielding a drummer boy in some forlorn last stand. I've got the figures and a drum with a spear stuck in it. Seeing as how the thin red line's broken I wanted to add a discarded Martini Henry rifle to the groundwork.

I've been at this game for over forty years now, and will be very good when I finally get the 'ang of it... I ordered the original figures from Empress Miniatures!!!

I can't find them anywhere on the Empress site.... I reckon the Redoubt Martini Henry's will be a fair size bogger than the Perry and Empress versions(?)

I certainly hope so, they would come is ever so handy for both my Xhosa and Sudan campaigns, but I have a feeling that I'm going to be disappointed.....  I hope that I'm mistaken.....

Athers, old top, I went on Redoubt's website and put 'Martini Henry Rifle' in the search bar and found them... those Empress helmets look spot on for my little vignette.

Yep its what I use them for. I also use the shields for the same thing.

Yep, it's getting the hang of it that counts  .
