Immortality awaits! - Invitation to my weblog
« on: 20 September 2008, 06:09:50 PM »
Hi all,

with fall coming it's time to start a new project (maybe two or three others, too). ;D
So here's my new weblog, introducing all the new (and some older) stuff which comes from my painting desk:

http://lead-mountain.blogspot.com

It's really about my wargaming efforts in general, as I'm now aware of the uselessness trying to concentrate on a certain theme or project. There aren't many entries yet, but I wouldn't mind if you join in and leave a comment on something...   ::)

Recently I've updated with a pic of Menelaus, king of Sparta, who will be part of a skirmish campaign in a historical/fantasy Trojan War setting.
But there are also some Darkest Africa pics, especially for the well-disposed LAF members. ;)
Here's an - altered - preview:

Hope you enjoy your visit.

Top notch. Look forward to seeing more, both from Africa and Ilium. I would be into doing the Trojan War, were there not too many other things for me too do already.

I feel your pain. But I've given up trying to finish things before getting into new ones. Simply didn't work for me in the past. My solution is to concentrate on missions easy to accomplish, like a small set of figures for a Darkest Africa multiplayer campaign. Although, there are still some armies slowly proliferating on the painting desk - I mean, very slowly.
And, as you see, sometimes it's good to have a closet with some long (and better) forgotten projects in it. ;)

Thanks anyway for your reply.
