Who makes giant rats?
« on: 10 February 2015, 06:00:17 PM »
I'm trying to pick out sources for 28mm giant rats. Not GW's current plastic ones, which are the ones I have and want to offload. Not ratmen either. Just rodents of unusual size. ;)

I know of the few sold by Reaper, Ral Partha Europe, Otherworld, and Lead Adventure. Any others I could throw into the chittering swarms, to add even more variety?

I saw some pretty big ones last time I was in Islamabad  ::)
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Mega minis did a really good rat swarm pack that had some rous's in, if you inquire with them
Johnny might still do them and if not he can tell you who has them now

I think D&D plastic have some
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Ta all! Some nice suggestions in there. Although, maybe not that unusual a size, Fingers. :D Thanks, though.

Reaper's Bones line has packs of big rats. Not Shetland-pony-sized, more like sofa-cushion, Corgi-dog-sized.

And inexpensive, so you can field bunches of 'em.
from Mr.Vampire: "It's the paintjob that makes the miniature fight harder not the size."

Blimey, there are quite a few, aren't there? Ta again!

Fingers: I'm looking for rats for Mayhem Skaven, so I can whip up a profile for wolf rats or even wolf rat riders pretty quick. TBH, if I do that, I think I'd like to convert or even sculpt my own.
