After a very good deal, I have now a large bunch of Irish on my painting desk.
All the minis (except 2) are from Footsore Miniatures. They are really good and very nice to paint.

Here are the first two :

- a Curaidh from Crusader Miniatures (the tartan is not very historical, but it's a nice way to add some blingness to my guards and champions) :

- a druid (it's Merlin, from Footsore Miniatures) :

I have more guards on the desk, and another curaidh, so expect some news for the very soon...

Some news for my irish warband

- first fiannas (Footsore Miniatures) nearly done (I'm waiting for some LBM transfers to finish the shields and glue them in place) :

- Merlin with the 2 Curaidhs (the one on the left is from Footsore) :

Bloody hell, those are awesome. I really like your painting style. Those Irish figures are great - I've been tempted to add to my own Dark Ages stuff with some of them!

GB really should make a set of their plástic shields available - some of the best out there atm, imo!
