Is it them... or isn't it?

I originally intended to paint these in the same grittier colourscheme I used for the Captain America MaK, but after several painted versions kept kreeping up in the past week, I wanted to do something different. So all of a sudden I felt this urge to paint them in US dark green. I don't know why, since I wanted a red white and blue Cap like everyone else, but I *had* to paint it like this. Maybe I'll just have to get a third set to paint up normally.

Is it still Cap and Bucky? You decide...

Well... the colours do not really say 'America' in the usual way... I dunno....

Well, aside from the red, it's the same colour as on the regular uniforms/vehicles.

I like it  the green colour scheme says super soldier as well as the blue.

I know, but it's the combo of blue-white-red (Stars and Stripes) that spells USA to me..

Yeah, but this gives a feeling of realism the bright colors can't do. This looks like how they would go into battle, not pose for the cameras.

It's an interesting choice.  Sort of like when they tone down the red/white/blue insignia on modern warplanes. I'm not sure I'd go that way with them, but it's certainly creative, and cool to look at.
