French flamethrowers in 28mm
« on: 16 February 2015, 09:56:34 PM »
Do these exist or can anyone suggest a suitable proxy.  I was wondering about Scarab's Italian ones which is the make of French I use. Any help gratefully received.

Here are some images of actual French flamethrowers in use in WW .  You'll see that they appear to dress in conventional infantry dress, vice the protective equipment of the Scarab Italians - the last photo has the crew in leather jackets:

As I mentioned on another post (Verdun), one of our customers converted the Italian flame thrower for his army.

These pics are great and as our French range is about to get reinforcements - Senegalese troops, gasmask wearing infantry and some other bits, I will add this to the list immediately!
Kind regards

Rather amusingly I ordered a pair last weekend and am awaiting delivery.  My brave French are all Scarab and I am a great fan of your stuff.   I'm pondering a headswap but e either way I shall post pictures when they're done.

And you're going to make me spend more money now...
