Welcome!

For the moderators,
I think it would be nice to make a list which countries all members represent!

It is a voluntary parameter in the Personal Preferences. I think it should stay that way.

I agree to that. But you could ask, if you have the time, the members if they want to declare their homecountry (not to be added permanently in their profiles) just to have a statistical data.

Hi guys, thanks for all your comments!!!!, Hola muchachos, gracias a todos!!!

Here, the more classical wargames are napoleonic wars, ancient era, WWI & WWII, ACW (batallion or division level), and of course all GW products. The skirmish rule systems and adventure games are not very popular (not yet, heheheh!!!)
With two friends, recently, we played SCW ( with our homemade rule system , sikirmish level) and coming soon sengoku jidai and viking era with a similar rule system.
This is the new web page of my group only in Spanish)

twrchtrwyth: no, I don´t live in Patagonia (the Argentinian - Welsh community live there), i live in the central region of the country in Rosario city

Poliorketes: I will carry the flag of the lead adventure forum here.

I am very very happy to write in this forum, the best forum!!!
Cheers
Mariano

That's quite a line up of wargaming gauchos, there... You don't do any locally flavoured games, like South American war of independece, Chaco war or Conquistadores/indians?

in the not too actually ... there are no good models to represent such conflicts.
Some people play war of triple alliance (miniatures produced by a local artist, not very well sculpted, in my opinion).
a friend of mine is collecting native warriors and conquerors of Peru and Amazon, another friend has listed his figures of the Falklands war (guerra de Malvinas) ... although we have never played yet.
That is what they fear with local flavor. The rest is very similar to the games in Europe or the United States.
Greetings
