Converged Maryland/Delaware Unit at Cowpens

The converged Maryland/Delaware Continental unit as they appeared at Hannah's Cowpens on the day of the battle.

My favorite unit of the entire AWI. The heart of the Continental Army...the Maryland and Delaware Continentals. Every bit as staunch as their British counterparts, these soldiers stood with the best that the mighty British Army could muster and gave as good as they got.
I was excited to get these done and am very happy with the result. The Command stand is very close to being finished and I have to choose a flag.

I'm prejudiced, but I love these figures. The choice of heads makes every figure look like a different pose. And the Over Mountain Men blend in so well when you use them as militia or mixed in with the Continentals. My Southern Army is really beginning to take shape.

I took some overhead shots, so that you can see the entire bases. 30 figures, 6 to a stand. Five stands completed. The Cmd stand will bring the unit up to full strength of 36 figures.
