Starting forces for SA from UK sources
« on: February 25, 2015, 08:04:47 PM »
Hi Guys

I'm just wondering if anyone can help with the size of forces required to play SA and where I could source suitable figures from in the UK?

Cheers

For your Threshold team you will only need a handful of figures to get started, five or six would be planty.

For the Lurkers it would all depend on what you want to use.
Cultists would be a kind of all-round bad huy type to get you started and from there you could add in what you fancied.

In the UK,North Star have quite a few things that you could use in the Artizan Thrilling Tales range, along with Copplestone Castings and Sally 4th also have the Thrilling Tales range and a selection from the Pulp Figures ranges.

Blind Beggar (my own range) have a few things that could work well too.

Mason covered most of it.

In addition, not in the UK, but Miniaturicum (Germany) carries Bob Murch's Pulp Figures range.
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Pulp figures range is now available through North Star in the UK,
They also carry artizan and a few other ranges with useful bits for SA

Crooked Dice also do some cultists that might be useful. There are also some interesting mythos beasties in the Modiphius Achtung! Cthulhu range (http://www.modiphius.com) that will work well. They are both British companies, so will be posting within the UK.

It also depends on what era you're going for. I've been going down the WW2 route, so an using all of the Achtung! Cthulhu range along with Warlord's range of figures
