Sky Sleds and a miniature ID question
« on: March 08, 2015, 11:05:17 AM »

I found this on a Col. Marbles showcase, wherein it was claimed to hail from Rap Patha's Crucible range, but I can't find it on either site. Anyone able to shed any light on the matter? I'd like to get a few to act as Red Martian Sky Sleds.
Failing that, can anyone suggest suitable small, one man flight crafts that would do the job? I'm already using the excellent Hydra Miniatures ones for another faction.
Anyone fancy Dark Eldar stuff might be convertible? I fear they are too large and the skill involved might be out of my range, as well. As a last resort I might grab some plastic Warhammer Dwarf Gyrocopters and shave off all the dwarf bits, but all the GW options are a little pricey.

Thanks in advance, as always.

EDIT: Turns out they are Royal Elf Storm Riders. Not too pricey on eBay but the postage is killer from the US.
