Pulp Alley 40k AAR: Firebase Fracas
« on: 09 March 2015, 04:07:06 PM »
theottovonbismark, Just John and Mr Saturday visited my place for some 40k universe skirmishing via Pulp Alley rules last weekend.

The first game featured Human/alien hybrids with 1980s synth pop affectations, motile and monosyllabic trees, fascist space-halflings, moustachioed mankini garbed ork geniuses, rapid fire ion blaster wielding anthropomorphic raccoons and a load of robots.

The blog post on the game has more photos and details for those of you who might be interested :)

That is how I've always imagined gaming should be. Great write up.

That looks like a great game, and as always, a very amusing write up. Pulp Alley delivers the goods!

Thanks for all of the kind feedback everyone.

I have a fairly good idea of what I want from a game at this stage - science-fiction, larger than life characters and deeds, strong and melodramatic narrative, nice models, decent looking terrain and good company.  Currently all of those things are pulling together to make gaming sessions that I thoroughly enjoy.  I hope that some of that comes out in the reports.

I should have a report on the second game ready early next week I hope.
