Oh they are....Lovely!  :-*

But I'm sticking to 1740's for horse and musket!

And I'm definitely sticking these in my 1672 French battalions  :D 8) :D

If Nick is reading this, and there's a good chance he will, any hint of what we may expect next ? Mounted and dismounted French and allied dragoon command please, pretty please...

They look, um... odd. Maybe it's the paint job, or maybe it's the photo, but they look stylistically very different from the rest of the range - both from the very distinctive and somewhat stylised Copplestone originals, and the Steve Saleh 'in the style of' rest of the range. These look different again... A bit cruder. But maybe it's the poses, or the faces or something...

I don't think Steve Saleh did these - his last 1672 figures before he left North Star for Warlord were the Dutch civilians and Bishop of Munster personality figure. Dunno who the sculptor is but I'm ordering some tonight and I'll be able to judge when I see them in the metal. To be honest, the only iffy-looking figure in the set is the second from the right : the other three look fine by me, though the pic is not the best in the world.
