Ah thanks... just tried it - it works splendidly!!! 

I now know what I'll be doing on my next vacation - resizing HO-scale building-pdfs!! Off to Fiddler's Green very soon

It will not work with every pdf as some are protected and some are made in a way that the images can't be 'marked' (right term?) the right way.

I'll remember that. Will have to try it out with the Fiddler's Green stuff - but if they are locked I may be able to make FG 'unlock' the files for me if I offer them the re-worked files in 28 mm scale

Think It'll be a Retro Sci-Fi thing... "The evil Dr. Zephalo looked down at Spaceman Spiff with a triumphant grin.... "  It's a future project, have to get some money stashed for buying the necessary minis....

@Argonor: That sounds like a good game. I'll be waiting for some pics. It sounds like Zephalo gave you some good advice that works. I do mine with the snapshot function of Acrobat, and change the dpi from 72 to 200 in Paintshop. You can also change the settings in Acrobat itself, but I forgot how.
