Powdered Barker Peninsular Game Part III
« on: March 21, 2015, 07:10:09 AM »
And the final stages of the Peninsular game using the Durham Club's hybrid rules, Powdered Barker. The French Right and Left collapsed partly because of the incredibly lucky British Hussars who had no right to achieve what they had done on the day.

The rest of it was down to the sheer bloody mindedness of the British infantry.... oh, and some nice dice rolling on Matt's part and bad luck with Shaun's dice rolling technique not working on the day!

You can read about the action and see many more pics of this great game on my blog, Just Add Water:

A few pics to whet the appetite:

Cheers,
Darrell.

They look great. A nice game you've got there.  :)

Thanks, I'm not so sure about the rules, they seemed a little slow for me but Shaun, who knows his Nappy stuff seemed to think they worked quite well barring a few problems. As the rules evolve these should be ironed out.

Sounds like a plan. Can't wait to hear more as the rules get worked out!
