Here are highlights from one of the Pulp Alley games we played this week.

We were playtesting a couple new abilities and perks, so this is just a simple Smash and Grab scenario.

Pulp Girl's sidekick faces a string of perils on his way to the safety valve.

Got to love drawing a FREE PASS for the first plot point of the scenario. YAY!

The strange Machines of Doom slash their way across the airfield.

Pulp Girl's colleagues advance forward to stop the unstoppable!

Even a local mechanic leaps into the fray, but he's no match for the killing machine.

Chinese Mike and Bowler are also knocked down by the armored contraptions, "They can't be stopped!"

Pulp Girl unleashes the full force of her ray projector and knocks one of the killing machines away.

Dodging whirling blades on both sides, Pulp Girl leaps between the robots and grabs the secret plans from the cockpit!

Bowler and Mak try to distract the weird machines while Pulp Girls escapes with the secret plans.

Pulp Girl = 5 victory points. Machines of Doom = 2 victory points.

I was using my "inexperienced" version of Pulp Girl's roster and the Machines of Doom proved to be way tougher than I expected. In the end I was able to outmaneuver them and captured more objectives but it was a very close and fun game.

After we finished this scenario we immediately played again. This time with 4 players/sides! ....

What are those machines of doom?  They look very familiar, but I can't place them...

Excellent report as usual. The Therians are fantastic for pulp.

Marvelous stuff!  :-* The close-run games are the best kind.  :)
