Brigade Games Western Characters III
« on: March 23, 2015, 03:22:45 PM »
Does anyone want to throw guesses out as to who these five figures "don't"  ;) represent?

The first two sets proxy characters from HBO's "Deadwood", but I'm pretty stumped on this group.

The middle two are I believe based on the two main characters from Appaloosa.

Thanks guys! I've never seen Appaloosa, probably why I was in the dark.

The two on the right are Dan Evans and Ben Wade from the 2007 version of 3:10 to Yuma.

Hmmm... yeah, I guess I could buy the one on the far right as Ben Wade. Not 100% sold on Dan Evans, but it certainly does make sense if Wade is there. Probably because it's not the best photo and you can't zoom in I'm having a hard time. Appreciate the help!  :)

The second from right is Randall Bragg also from Appaloosa, from the opening scene outside his homestead.

Many of the movie & TV characters are based on western stereotypes. Some of these guys might resemble those characters because they are based on the same stereotype & might not be meant to be that particular person. This is a really nice set of figures. I see on the left an ex-soldier, on the right a dandy, gambler, or pinkerton detective. In the middle a gunslinger or lawman. And the other 2 ranchers or trail bosses. What ever you want them to be. Nice figures though.
