German Zombie Horse conversion Painted !!!
« on: September 30, 2008, 09:09:59 AM »
Another German in an already saturated market, I know, but I was inspired by some artwork posted on the BGWW2 forums to put together this WIP conversion of a zombified WW2 German cavalry figure.

He's sitting a bit wobbly on his horse as I haven't fixed him in place yet.
Head is from West Wind, body is converted from a 1/48 Tamiya plastic. The horse is Foundry.
It's a bit hard to see, but that's a  severed arm he's holding (the sleeve will be painted US green).

Just noticed I forgot to give him... what are those things called in English... stir-ups? (the things you secure your feet in). Will need to do that before painting, he'll never stay on that horse otherwise.  ;)

Here's a link to the art that inspired it (though I intentionally strayed from it quite a bit).

Very cool.  He looks good sitting wobbly.  You should throw one of those crows on his shoulder.

Excellent work WK! :o :-* :o

Really inspired conversion. I also like the wobbly seating position.

Superb.  8)

I love your stuff, it always inspires me to try convertting something new. You are to blame for my increasingly unrealistic projects!  lol
