Wrath of the Northmen

So by popular demand I start a thread here in Medieval Adventures for people to follow my viking adventures. I have been keeping a log on the workbench som this first post will be a lot of backlog pictures. But in the future I plan to expand the viking army and perhaps even start work on some adversaries. Saxons and/or Franks.

Two charcoal Kilns. Eventually there will be a Blacksmith and an iron smelter.



Right now i am working on a dark age house and I think some warriors and som various livestock will follow.

Awesome collection so far. The non-regular buildings are especially good - great imagination. The warrior that really caught my eye was the mounted and foot version of the female(?) warrior in the second from end warriors picture. Where is (s)he from?

Great looking terrain - the charcoal burner works very well as a Dark Age terrain piece.

Thanks everyone. More is coming I can assure you. Just not for the next few days as I am busy eating obscene amounts of pickled herring and drinking even more obscene amounts of snaps. The traditional danish way of celebrating the death of a carpenters son.

The ship is a Revell 1:50 modelship.
It comes with a display stand. So I waterlined the ship myself by just attacking it with my dremel. In hindsight I should have probably done some form of marking where the waterline should be as it took some sanding to get it more or less even. But overall I am quite pleased with the result.
