Wow  :o :-* :o :-* Lovely work - all looks absolutely superb - as many photos as possible please - everything works so well together and the banners set it all off a treat

Many thanks Burnin Coal, Hopefully I'll be able to get the walls to the castle finished by the end of the week, if the weather stays fine, I'll try and get some pics posted... It's a major attraction of this period, the number of banners you can add to your units!... You can never have too many!!!  :D Thank you again.

Wooha!

Outstanding work!  :-* :-*

Aside from the perfect buildings you've created - your miniatures are on the same level.
Are you working with laser printed textures, or is it all created with brushwork?

And you must be lucky to have a cat AND perfect weather for Pictures :)
As I am living in the northern parts of Germany, you can wait some time for such a clear sky ;)

Cheers
Andreas

Hallo Andreas, many thanks! :) I was following the progress of your 'Duel in the Edo Street' - very impressive! My stuff is a little smaller tho'  :D

In answer to your question, I use a bog standard ink-jet to print out my patterns and textures, then rough them up, stain them and apply liberal layers of dust and ash to weather them; takes the pristine newness down several notches, and protects the printed surface, it also hides any white edges and many, many mistakes  :D

These last couple of days have been the first bits of good weather we've had this year so far, hopefully it will last until the end of the week... my cat always likes to get involved too...

Many thanks again,

S.

Looking at the first 3 pics with the buildings and background it was easy to believe that you were showing real buildings. The bases gave it away but for a moment there I was convinced that they are not models. Really well done.
Thanks for posting as I think they are very inspirational.
