The shield arm comes free of shields? Excellent!
I prefer to use my own shields with sculped on heraldry.
Far less active than I used to...

Higer Rez photo would be very nice

From this there seems to be
5 bodies
10 heads
2 crossbow arm sets
2 bow arm sets
3 one hand weapons
2 big weapons

a few bags and things
Its good to see separate shields - gives more left arm options, or is easier to add other shields.

Yea, and with them being comparable with fire-forge this really is going to be a nice useful set!

Ooooh. Exciting. More plastic.

Yea, and with them being comparable with fire-forge this really is going to be a nice useful set!

Truthfully, I've intermixed components from all the main plastic manufacturers in my Game of Thrones figures - Fireforge, Perry, Gripping Beast, and Warlord - and they all fit together well enough that you'd never be able to tell the difference with the naked eye. http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=62778.0

Would they work with the old mordheim Middenheimer bits? the heads and cloaks would make interesting for interesting options.

Probably not, I tried to use some of the mordheim bits on the FireForge figures a little while ago and the proportions were way off. Height etc was similar but hand and heads on the mordheim figures were enormous. Maybe I'm picky though  ;)

The Mordheim plastics were great (that's where my Pirates of Roglaroon are from) but from a medeival perspective and ability to mix with other plastics these look like a whole new epoch.

As regards the progression / resource issue, I've found myself in a couple of Xbox games trapped in a vicious circle of failure to achieve objectives, leading to use of potions which can't be replaced because you don't get the treasure. In skyrim I resorted to hunting to generate some income, so much so I preferred hunting the moors to going off on adventures. Which is a long way of saying, stick at it, play the margins, get the resources and get back in the game. You'll look back on it as tough but that wizard will have a heck of a history.

Heh, I doubt even Richard is that fast  :D

Got to have a look at the sprue this evening, very nice. It's only a test sprue so there are some casting issues to sort out on the plastic mould but they look good. Definately 5 hand weapons, plus there is an off hand dagger too. From the sounds of it it'll still be a while before production castings can be started.

As some of us are starting to think about appropriate scenery I wonder how the rules for it is.
Making good terrain to play in needs some consideration and knowledge of the game.

Is it a simple Good Going/Bad Going and Clear/Obscuring? Or is there more to it?

How long do you move? Is there any sort of coherence limit?
Jumping and climbing rules? Hiding?

Is shooting, and thus cover, powerful?

Anything else?
