Another of Wargames Illustrated's lovely giveaway models for 2015 - available from their stand at any show (while stocks last). It depicts the future King Edward I gleefully hacking away, some time around 1264.

The coat of arms is embossed on the shield ... the rest was done by hand ... and yes, it did take years off me ...

Brilliant  :-*, a very colourful model but my eye was immediatley drawn to the way you've painted the metal areas especially the helmet. Cracking job.

I always feel guilty when people ask that because I mix my own colours up in shades from 'Base', through 'Midtone' (1st and 2nd) and 'Highlight'. It's mostly Vallejos though, if that helps.
