Batman motorcycle for 28mm
« on: April 25, 2015, 02:01:22 AM »
A couple weeks ago I found a Batman motorcycle in a box of discarded toys at the swap meet.  I claim no expertise in Batman vehicles, and this one may have no actual place in the “real” Batman vehicle stable, but it’s kind of neat looking and only cost me 50 cents.  For the last four months or so I’ve been working on my 15mm/18mm FIW collection, but it’s nice to take a break occasionally so this morning I decided to see if I couldn’t improve the look of my 50-cent Batman motorcycle.  I cleaned it up with some putty and also used the putty to give Batman a nose.  Once the putty was dry and sanded, I gave Batman and his motorcycle a new paint job.   The Batman figure that comes with the motorcycle is probably closer to 32mm than 28mm but since he is seated in the motorcycle with only the top half of his body showing, the difference between 32mm and 28mm is not that significant.  Anyway, I’m pretty happy with the way it came out.  I’ve attached a before and after set of pictures below.  Richard

Thanks for writing.  I should have mentioned that the original toy was produced for a McD's kids' meal in 2010.
