That's scratchbuilt isn't it? Cripes, that's some amazing work Lou! Damn! Doing up the bonnet, grill, and front fenders must've been a hell of a job - how'd you manage them?

If that's Lou's original scratchbuilt model he's wasted not doing masters for a manufacturer or three... 8)

Great work Lou...a man who gets stuff done...Well done sire!!

Now,

That particular vehicle...what can it be used for...French..time period? Anywhere else?

Basically, what utility beyond your planned use is there for this fine looking model?

Cheers

Happy W

this vehicle was the "modern" armored car of Vichy forces in Lebanon/Syria during exporter ...
after the fall of Vichy Levant
they became free french vehicles ...
some in service in Syria
the others with the Free French Moroccan Spahis
they became the bulk of the Scot columns in Bir Hakeim .

after syrian independance, some where used by the Syrian army ... one was still in quite good condition in Bagdad before the Islamists attacks ...

With the guys on the WWPD, we are working on a Bolt Action unofficial ( but historically accurate  ;) ) Free French Army list 1940-1943, 1943-1944 mediterranean theater, 1944-1945 northern europe , including a theater selector for the Vichy forces in Levant and AFN ...
