Also, in honor of this thread, how about an 'elk101' sale.  Enter 'elk101' in the cart coupon section for 15% off this week!   8)

That is very cool!  I'm honoured to be in some small way associated with Crossover Miniatures.  :D

It's such a shame I'm on the other side of the Atlantic!  I'll have to speak to Leon at Minibits and pick some up. I love the multi head idea and the options it gives.

Great image of the supers too, apparently I'm the same height as Hawkeye!

Good Decision, Steve. I painted the first bunch of robots this sunday and got this satisfied smile at the end. Great Miniatures, looking forward to the next. And maybe a hint: Try the Supersystem-Rules.

Yup, gotta agree with everything everyone has said so far.
Supers can come from a very wide variety of sources. For generic 'make your own' heroes
You can't beat Crossover! They are also very painter friendly in design, which helps.

Just one other thing to add, a few firms such as hassle free produce sculpting 'dollies',
Basically unclothed figures. These are great for heroes or villains wearing skin tight costumes,
and if your green stuff skills are up to it you can add your own capes, masks etc.

Just a note to say how impressed I am with Crossover Miniatures' customer service. I ordered on Saturday and my parcel arrived to the UK from the US today. Rusti has also been very helpful with rules guidance. Excellent stuff, thank you.

32mm I think

KM list the minis as '35mm', but even then there are clear discrepancies of scale within the range. So some minis would be 'big' or 'tall' next to 28's/30's. One example is the Poison Ivy mini who is disproportionately tall. There are others.

I am still going to try and paint them all.... :P

Back on topi:

don't miss this Kickstarter for a range of Weird War minis including superheroes/villains: the weird in this case is the supers!

War of Wonders (click for link)

The range has a thread in the WW section, but is clearly relevant here. :)

I like the initial sculpts a lot. :)

A word of warning, I had dealing with a sculptor by the name of Alessio Cisbani who ran the original Project HOPE KS a few years ago.  Seemed a nice guy, did some sculpting for me and was a disaster.  He still owes me money over a refund, if he is in any way associated with this project, I won't go near it with a barge pole.  I hope he isn't, because it looks like a great project.

I just found the bonus figures at the bottom of the box, thank you Fergal!

I'm about 120 pages in to Supersystem 4. There's a lot of special rules which I don't normally like, but in this case I'm enjoying it.
