The Tank Museum in Bovington - Access All Area Event

On 23rd of April there was a Access All Area Event in Bovington. So we used the time to be in London for the Salute to visit this Event. And it was a great, great day! It was worth it to drove left of the street, 2 1/2 hours in the rush hour to see these all!

Lovely. I had the chance to visit Bovington a couple of years ago but the missus insisted we go to the Monkey World instead. After seeing a dozen bored primates sitting in the drizzle even she was embarrassed by that decision.

I'm jealous.

Great place the Tank Museum, I live about 30 minutes away and usually go once or twice a year.  The Battlegroup South show which is held at the museum is well worth attending if you can make it.  Wargames and tanks in the same building - what's not to like!

Last time I was there had a great breakfast in the NAAFI then spent most of the day in the library reading RTR diaries.

Wife took couple kids there 2 year ago.
