The Tank Museum in Bovington - Access All Area Event
« on: May 02, 2015, 12:57:15 PM »
On 23rd of April there was a Access All Area Event in Bovington. So we used the time to be in London for the Salute to visit this Event. And it was a great, great day! It was worth it to drove left of the street, 2 1/2 hours in the rush hour to see these all!

These is the Link to the first part of the report - much more photos from Tigers, Panthers, Shermans, etc. will follow in the next days!

Lovely. I had the chance to visit Bovington a couple of years ago but the missus insisted we go to the Monkey World instead. After seeing a dozen bored primates sitting in the drizzle even she was embarrassed by that decision.

I'm jealous.

Of your tank museum visit, not the monkeys.

Great place the Tank Museum, I live about 30 minutes away and usually go once or twice a year.  The Battlegroup South show which is held at the museum is well worth attending if you can make it.  Wargames and tanks in the same building - what's not to like! :)

Last time I was there had a great breakfast in the NAAFI then spent most of the day in the library reading RTR diaries.
