A gas station for some Zombie wargaming
« on: 09 October 2008, 09:41:49 PM »
Hi, everyone. After seeing Ray Rivers' Colonial Space Base and Deathwing's Shellendrak Manor threads posted here a while back, I was inspired to try some WorldWorks Games stuff of my own. I made a little gas station using WorldWorks Games' excellent Urban Mayhem sets with foamcore. Its going to be part of a larger modular table that is a WIP. Comments and criticism appreciated. Thanks for looking  :).

That looks really, really nice! Like the rats by the rubbish bins btw...
How long did it take to build?

Thanks  :). It took about 12 hours total time, mainly because I had to sorta teach myself how to manipulate images in PaintShop. Once I get the stuff printed, the build is relatively fast.

Excellent job Luckyjoe.  This set is on my 'wants' list, and has been for some time. I'll take the plunge soon and order it and the new Mall.

That is a darn fine piece of terrain!

Would never have guessed that was your first build.

Nice job.

@Sterling Moose: Thanks. The Bits of Mayhem set which contains the gas station is one of my favorites, though I used components from several other Mayhem sets as well.

@Ray Rivers: Thanks, it's not really my first build, though. Sorry if I gave that impression. Shortly after you posted your first thread about your Colonial Space Station I started getting WorldWorks Games Urban Mayhem sets, and have been building them ever since. This is just the first one I've posted.  :)

Why do I keep thinking "They drew first blood!"  lol

It's a lovely model and I look forward to seeing the whole town, when it's finished  :)
