XCIV, don't be disheartened. It has long been observed in the LPL, that a sometimes massive difference in the voting, does not necessarily equate to a corresponding gulf in quality between the entries. It just means something about your opponent's entry has appealed to a much wider audience. It might be the painting, the photogaphy, the subject matter, choice of figures, style of presentation, composition - all sorts of things (rightly or wrongly) play out in people's decisions about which of two photos of miniatures they will choose.
