Author Topic: Looking for figure ideas (Merchant, Wizard, Moat monster skeleton)  (Read 793 times)

Hi all.  Fairly new on here and still fairly new at painting miniatures.  I normally build models in 72nd scale so prefer 20mm figures but have picked up a lot between 20 and 32mm.

I have a humor dio idea that involves a Realtor trying to sell a dilapidated lair to a new Wizard in town.  The problem is I have been unable to find a decent looking merchantman to use as my Realtor.  Preferably someone in a long robe type costume (will be gold in color, hint, hint) and if possible, holding a long scroll or deed.

Also looking for the potential customer.  The Wizard needs to be in a non fighting stance, probably with a staff.  Reaper has one or two that might work but looking for all ideas.

The lair/castle will also have a dried up moat around it and I would love to put a moat monster skeleton in it (probably with a belly full of skeletons and skeleton horses, etc).  Thinking along the lines of a longer, slinky body like a snake or plesiosaur. Thought about just trying to find a snake skeleton and then add a bigger rib cage section for a stomach area.  Also looked at a couple of skeleton dragons but they are expensive and have a lot of unneeded material (wings, legs).

So, any and all ideas greatly appreciated.
