I'm not a big fan of the actual sculpts, I prefer Kev's 90s style, but they've got a proper 80s oldschool vibe that will appeal lovers of that era.

Nice painting, but what the hell is up with the proportions on these?! I thought Warmonger was selling new sculpts? These look like intern stuff Kev did in blutac while waiting for the percolator to finish. How many necks do the right-most guy have?! Poor show.  :?

Some of them serve quite nicely as Chaos Goblins. Hence, although the pj is very neatly done I would think a more dark and evil pj will suit them better.

Great job on the paintjobs, but I agree these are not as good as Kev's previous work with the foundry war orcs and mercenary orcs.  The dynamism is somewhat awkward to me... can't quite put my finger on it, but I don't like how almost every figure seems to be hopping on one foot.

There are certainly different. I suspect Mr Adams has been cranking out greenskins for so long now he wanted to try a different style. I do like them but they don't really mix well with anything I've got, so probably not going to get any. I've seen some beastmen Kev has done for Warmonger though, and I love those, can't wait for them to be released.

Your painting is superb! I have to be honest though, I think the figures are awful. Personal taste and all that.

Another nice paintjob!

Not sure if you noticed, but the warmonger website is now live. http://www.warmongerminiatures.com/  They have not yet added the new figures, but some of the older ones have found their way on to it.

On it, they left a note about the necks:

The necks provided are of various lengths: it is easy to either clip them back or extend them with a small amount of Green Stuff or Milliput.

Looks like your latest fella could have used a neck trimming  ;)

The ones I picked up from Salute had heads already attached so I left them at that but read that bit about the necks as well!
