Nice!

I was not able to identify Christopher Lambert (I should be ashamed!)  Liam Neeson (never seen the movie) and Chris Hemsworth.

I'm not sure about the artist special boxes being based on characters from movies/series.
Anyhow, I guess we'll get a few more to look at in the coming month. This might (again) end up pretty expensive  o_o
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

hm, judged from their bases - and assuming these are typical 2.5cm - the minis look bigger than 25-28mm. More closely to 30-32, I gather.
Screened the thread, but may have missed it. Any facts about that?
best wishes

Pics

Only the exclusives are meant to be based on film / tv characters the non exclusives are going to be so that "Marc Simonetti" art you have linked to Brienne is really just con-incidence, though one can guess that it may well have been the inspiration for it, it's certainly not meant to be as blatant as the exclusives.

You see they can sort of get away with the exclusives as they will never be up for sale and the odds are n-one is going to try and sue for something that was only available for 30 days and was only offered as a freebie, but the rest will sold be so they need to avoid any IP issues with them.

I'd love to see a Christopher Lee mini in honour of a great man recently deceased.

I agree with you guys that the guest characters aren't likely to be exact reproductions of popular movie/tv characters... That being said, I think those two listed above are very conspicuous in their similarity to known characters. As such, I thought it was worth mentioning.

@Drachenklinge - Indeed they are taller and thinner. 30-32mm is a good estimation. They don't fit super well with the short and stubby 28mm heroics that we are familiar with. I'll see if I can post some scale comparisons between the modern Zombicide figs and other well-known figs and post it later.

Thanks

Thanks Neldoreth. The minis look nice. At our club we think to take part in kickstarting. Wanted to buy a Zombicide for quite a while, maybe now is the time.

Sooooo many nice minis, I shouldn't really but I am tempted. Keeping my resolve for a couple of weeks, then I will no doubt cave.  :D

I thought Lucas was the Russell Crowe Robin Hood. But then again, I thought I blocked all memories of that movie...

Oh wow. there's Thrud! Is there a way to get in on this KS just for the Thrud pack? Also, does anyone know who Persephone Pursuivant is?

Yes, make a friend pledge and let him add your Thrudd add-on to it  ;).
Or you can wait until it is on general sale and shell out a fiver more.

I must say I'm not too convinced about Wulfsburg yet, but the add-on character sets make me very happy. The Adrian Smith set rocks big time  8).
