Pulp Alley and the Tomb of Doom
« on: May 27, 2015, 06:08:15 PM »
Wylie and Josh came over the other day to try out a new scenario.

We tried a dungeon crawl type of scenario with monsters spawning randomly in the rooms each time a character entered. The objective was to stop the mummy from taking the sacrifice to the altar.

Tons of monsters spawned to slow the league down.

While the mummy just carried on its way.

We’ll have to tweak the scenario some more before it works properly.

After that Wylie and Josh played a game with Wylie’s league trying to defend the tomb and Josh’s league trying to gather plot points.

Josh mowed through Wylie’s follower’s pretty effectively…

While still trying to pick up plot points

Josh ended the game with 3 minor plot points and Wylie gathered the remaining plot points, slowing him down enough to win the game.

Yes, your board looks amazing, as do the figures, and the scenario--well, dungeon crawls are always fun! Sometimes figures like that, great as they are, can be fiddly to add to a scenario, so you are to be complimented for doing it so cleverly.

Mila,
Great looking game, very cool terrain. What figure is that fellow with the red scarf and pistol? I don't recognize him from any range.

Another great AAR.

Looks like a lot of fun.

Will a similar scenario appear on a future PA book?

Thanks for sharing.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Same here! First thing I thought was: "Hey! Is that a new Pulp Alley mini by Andrew...? :-*"

And ace report as usual. Reminds me to do a dungeon crawl too for Pulp Alley. I am itching to do one soonish!
