Good stuff Chris! Love the shutter details on your buildings  :)
One more question, do you think that just purchasing the pdf files of the "skins" of the buildings would be an option as well?

Yesterday, (25th October), we packed all of our Normandy terrain into the car and drove down to FIASCO wargames show to put on a Bolt Action WW2 game using it. The scenario saw US 101st PIR tasked with holding a strategic town against determined German counterattacks until relieved by the Shermans from 1st Armoured coming up from the beach.

Here are the first shots of our Norman Church with Spire option.

No that looks like a good sniper position.

I will ask Sander about the Opel and get back to you... In the meantime Lasse Hansen from Denmark has put together one of our end terrace kits and has kindly written a detailed review, which can be read from our Normandy Blog : http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Normandy

This is Lasse's build. I think he has done a fantastic job, especially as we sent him a pre-production kit without instructions!

A view across the town square to the pair of corner shops. I think these are my favourite models from the Normandy range as they really capture the feel of the region. This week, which is the last week for the Kickstarter, I am concentrating on interior details. I am planning to add fireplaces and chimneys to the removable first floor together with a range of period wallpapers, so more photos to follow over the week.

Sally 4th Normandy - Interior Detail

Here is a first look at the detail of the interiors of our Normandy buildings. Buildings are designed with a removable first floor. This features a chunky central fireplace to give you something strong and secure to hold onto when lifting out a floor full of soldiers! We prefer this approach to stacking buildings in levels because you do not get the visible join lines on the outside. We also have an optional ruined version of the first floor and a choice of five ruined roof sections.

The interiors have period wallpaper available to go with them. Like all of the cover sheets for our photo-realistic Normandy range you can either print yourself or purchase professionally printed sheets if you feel your printer is not up to the job.

Kick-starter closes on Tuesday 22nd, so if you want to be part of it, our project is at: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/179272384/normandy-photo-realistic-28mm-terrain

Well, I have very, very nearly finished the design part of the Normandy project. Here's a couple of photo's my wife took last night of me working on the free furniture set, which I hope to have finished later today. This is an exclusive pack for everyone who pledges for one or more buildings and contains a table, four chairs and a piano (because I can remember an image from a WW2 film with a piano in the rubble out in the street).

Three days left until end of kickstarter.
