I was always going to do a submarine out of those, but hated the break in the curve at the join. Dopey moi.

That's brilliant!

So, I'm less about the idea, and absolutely gob-smacked by the execution!  :-*

And, for you, the tasteful restraint on number of rivets...  lol

Inspired by this so much I went off to Poundland and bought a pack of the glasses! Now all I have to do is magically acquire the skill to copy this excellent piece. Sadly the skill is harder to get than the glasses. Very well done, by the way!

I get to Wellington a fair bit with work would love to meet up.

Cheers
Fuzzy.
Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly
down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red
Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture,
torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals.

Thanks again, All! Glad you like!

Fuzzy (and anyone else heading Wellington-side any time) Yes - I live in Wellington, quite close to the airport. More than happy to meet up and talk about rivets!

PM me when you're due to head this way and we'll see about catching up.

They built it in the early 20th century, unfortunately it took longer to find and gather the scattered letters and parcels after 'landing' than to ship normally :)
So many projects..... so little time.......
