Awesome stuff again Daz! Thoroughly looking forward to seeing how it all pans out!

Let's hope it's not like that PMC disaster previously!  ;)

The unimog came to a halt & Delta quickly de-bussed, ditching the makeshift disguises, those in the front had.
`Jack` leads the way, followed by `Gray; Pete; Mikey & Guy`.
They quickly advanced towards the target compound, leaving `Brad` the saw gunner on overwatch,by the mog, covering their 6.
`Guy` drops short & kneels by a wall. Sweeping his M249 in the 3 o clock arc, he see`s goats & a young herder...

The herder,`Gol`is in his 16th year.
Apart from the goats, his pride n joy is the AK47 given to him on his birthday.
He treats it well & whenever he collects the goats, always leaves it amongst the rubble, wrapped in a sheet, so upon his return, he can quickly grab it & go for target practise without waking his fretting mother.
The tinkling of goat bells is broken by the sound of a vehicle coming to an abrupt halt & then within seconds `Gol` sees infidel running past him, in the distance, towards Mohammed's dwelling.
Instictively he shouts "Americans, Americans, infidels" & makes his way towards the rubble...
The goats continue on their merry way.

Hearing the shouts of `Gol` the lady who was sorting out her washing , quickly makes her way to wake up her husband, also having seen the truck drive right by her 30 seconds earlier..

`Jack` places the charge & signals for the guys to be ready...
BOOOOMMM!!
Dust & shit is thrown up & within a couple of seconds the Delta`s are in.
They quickly spot their target, laying shocked & dazed along with his wife.
Not giving him a chance to react they shout commands at him & force him to his feet, plasticuff him & force him out of the freshly made exit hole.
Wifey starts screaming & hollering...

BOOOMMM!!
`Gol` jumps, his pulse is racing,he reaches his precious AK.
Ripping the sheet from it he quickly realises that the infidel are here to kill his elder.
Believing he can help he quickly lines up against the infidel kneeling by the wall.
Adrenaline, youthful vigour, inexperience & just scared shitless, `Gol` squeezed the trigger.
Drrrrrrrrrrrr, 20 odds rounds whistled over `Guys` head, not even close.
The recoil & sheer surprise of firing full auto, dumped Gol on his ass.

Booommm!!
`Guy` instinctively flinched as the breach went ahead.
"Sheesh, despite years of training I never get used to that". He thought to himself.
As the cloud of dust drifted by him, suddenly...
Drrrrrrrrr, the distinctive sound of an AK letting rip & a lot of rounds fly harmlessly over his head.
WTF, he thought then shouted down his mike "Contact contact!"
Scanning his arcs he failed to see anything...

(2 failed spotting rolls...sheesh!)

`Gol` got to his feet & cussed himself.
Miraculously the infidel failed to see him so he again loosed off more rounds, being more careful this time.
Unfortunately he missed again & heard the bolt of his AK click open.
Realising he was out of ammo, he saw Mohammed being led out forcibly by the infidels.
Turning to run, his luck ran out & he was hit for a serious wound & dropped unconscious.

Drr Drr, more rounds came towards `Guy`, who finally spotted the tango with the AK & loosed an accurate burst towards him, hitting him & seeing him drop.
"Hell I hope that wasn`t the goat herder" he thought to himself as he moved with the rest of the team...
Meanwhile the goats continued unphased...

Shit was starting to get real...
`Ajad & Majar` both woke to the sounds of shouting & a muffled boom.
Realising they were under attack they grabbed their weapons & they charged out of their dwelling.
`Majar` was first out & jogged up the street towards the sounds of an AK firing, his rpg perched comfortably on his shoulder.
As he ran he noticed a female ahead by the well..she disappeared from view for a few seconds & as he got closer suddenly she re-appeared, only she was a he & clearly armed.
A 3 round burst hit him in the chest & as `Majar`s world turned dark he thought to himself "F****n cheatin CIA."

`Ajad` hurtled out of his door, "left or right..left or right" he pondered indecisively.
He saw `Majar` jogging up the street & suddenly saw an American pop round the corner by the well & shoot `Majar` down.
Quickly he dropped to his knee & fired quick but accurate bursts towards the yankee.
To his delight & surprise he hit the infidel true & watched him slump forward in a pool of blood.

(Natural roll spot rolled, followed by demon dice rolls to hit & damage caused CIA guy to be KIA instantly, his light armour failing to protect him...Grrr)

Other Tali quickly move to take up positions as the Delta`s move back towards the mog.
Meanwhile the goats are still around....

`Fuda` pops up on the roof behind the mog, but `Guy` on overwatch, spots him & wings him, causing him to drop out of sight, a light wound inflicted.
Meanwhile `Nashi`fires his rpd at the infidels behind the wall, but his rounds impact the wall itself, missing.
Cursing to himself he moves back to cover the infidel exit & spots `Gaan`, his close friend, across the way.

The Delta`s get the target aboard the Mog & head towards their exit zone.
An exchange between `Mikey` & `Gaan` quickly leads to`Gaan` losing badly, in a kia way...
The mog makes it away from the area despite sustaining damage from the rpd gunner, whom also sustained a light wound for his troubles.

So The Americans achieved their aim in getting the head man captured but sustained the loss of a valuable CIA operative, through some demon rolling by the Tali commander.
Thoroughly enjoyed this scenario.
Certainly had the potential to go wrong!

Until the next time 8-)

Absolutely amazing battle report Daz!!!

Really, really love the more thematic reports as it drew me right in. That CIA revealing series of pictures made me laugh out loud as I had the mental image of those a cheesy 80s film where it cuts between the protagonist to the antagonist then back to the protagonist whose instantly changed outfits. Not to say the report was cheesy by any means as I thought it was fantastic! Honestly mate, well done - more reports like this the better I say!

Thoroughly entertaining read and fantastic looking setup you've got as always! :)
