I ordered a copy immediately I received the email from Helion saying it had been published.

It came a couple of days ago and I am rather pleased with it. The paper it is printed on is that cheaper stuff, but flicking through it, it is full of illustrations and information.

If you are going to get one book on. The Serbian army of the period, this is the one.

I have had some luck with shop Bulgaria and their books on the Balkan Wars 1912

Most of this is in Bulgarian but the 14 pages of illustrated uniforms has an English translation.  Also you can contact the author through the publishing company for any questions.
It can take up to 6 to 8 weeks to get something from Bulgaria but this company has shipped fairly fast even if it takes their customs awhile to get things straight.

Its a good book I got it a few weeks back. Helion does a lot of great books on 19th century European warfare. The Bulgarian book I'm after is vachkoves Balkan wars 1912-13. I recently ordered a English copy(printed2005) from a Bulgarian dealer,waited a month and had to settle for a refund. Apparently my copy got lost in the post.

The 1912 Balkans War book is good too. Some of the uniform plates look Bright, shall we say, but otherwise very good. I got my copy via Amazon from Shop Bulgaria. Wanted the others too, but was put off by them not being in God's own Language...

I ordered mine from bulgaria through amazon! Only time I've been let down ,had to be a book i really wanted. I agree there seems to be four books(I know ones on 1880s Bulgarian armies)and they all look good. Only the Balkan wars one translated though.
