They are pretty much the worst sculpts lately but I am not a big GW Chaos fan to start with.  The two forces look like 40K close combat marines without guns. I assume they are trying to get younger kids interested in fantasy with this box set.

Rules look interesting though.  Worth a game or two test anyway.

Im thinking that the unarmoured chaos figs might be good necromunda/postapoc conversionfodder.

As for the spacemarine conversions, you need to sculpt the shoulderpads more sm-like and maybe add a chest skull or imperial eagle.

Awesome change...a plume and some eaglage and I'd say you're there --- you're not going with a shield right?

This would have actually made a cool alternate painting group...the 100-model lists they do on the forum here.  Since plenty of people would have picked it up.  A "what did you make out of the Sigmar figure..." painting club.  lol

Wouldn't these helmets be more suited for Adeptus Custodes:

At the very least they would safe you some time...

I will never buy Scibor products (if you would like me to list the many reasons, then PM me... needless to say, I will not support that particular venture).

I also enjoy sculpting so it makes sense to spend the time sculpting (I'd only start drinking if I didn't keep occupied ;) ).

How does that scale up to normal 28mm figs like hasslefree etc_
Something tells me that could be used to make powerarmour from fallout pretty easy.

I hope those armours are supposed to be big. Here is a comparison pic against a standard Imperial Guard guy:
