If these guys are meant to operate in close proximity to regular infantry, then ERA is a big no-no (no one wants a hot frag shower in the middle of a firefight).

Active protection systems (such as the Russian Arena or Israeli Trophy) would have similar problems - they're still going to launch bursts of fragmentation that would pose a threat to anyone nearby.  (Also, the supporting sensors, etc would start getting very heavy for a one-man suit.)

Thinking about it, I'm not sure how you could protect these suits against anti-armour weapons with near-future tech.  Lasers against grenades and missiles (ie chemical energy rounds) is the best I could come up with, but you'd be taking a bit of a leap with the miniaturisation.  Laser hard kill against solid (kinetic) anti armour rounds is probably some way off yet...

Rules wise its a simple test to see if active protection engages the warhead class weapon, it can only be used v warhead type weapns over a certain range, anything under that the sytem is not fast enough or it is deemed unsafe to use due to infantry in close proximity.. so fear not... and its only as good as the quality of the force and not 100% full proof by any means.

Well its been a busy day today with bits comming in from all angles, including retail interested in the range, and sound advise from other mini companies, this with sales accelerating, its probably time to warn people.

During August I am keeping the introductory Price as it is, untill either the end of the month or stock runs out, once this has happened the price will be raised to a degree where it is possible for retail to sell them as well, if i sold them to retail using the current price as a RRP i would be paying them to sell the minis, lol not good buisness practice.

what this does mean is i will be able to runn some special web bundles in the future once the stock range grows, wich should happen a fair bit next month by looks of things currently (not set in stone sadly)

I am also looking into introducing a level for free shipping world wide, but its quite a bit more fidly than i would have hoped for. As shop currently only has one item its not realy an issue yet.. once vehicles get added the game changes.

as a thank you for watching this post here is a sneak of the first vehicle, this is not the final render, ive had a few changes made, but i cant give everything away... ps it will come with 2 weapon turrets.

I don't know why but I really want one of these to have a horse-shoe antenna with floodlamps mounted to it.

Suits with 28mm infantry, without the vehicle this would make a 300 point force for OSC part1. normal learning games are suggested around 75-100 points.

Beautifully presented in their tin, beautiful casts. Can't wait to get them on the bench and on the table.

HI Ho

well this is the last weekend of the introdiuctory price for the suits.

Each product that gets launched will be done at an introductory price, for those fast enough :) this is dont to help bring in a fast injection of to pay for the moulds on the next product.

This is if you think about it a mini kickstarter on each mini, you invest in the first month you get the product cheaper, But unlike a kickstarter you get your products in days, not months.

The store also hase more new products now, this helps fill your cart to grab the Free Postage for orders to the UK of £25+

There are more exciting products comming i hope next month, from terrain to vehicles :)

sorry no pics, Have been finishing the rules for tha last 2 weeks and there very close to going to printers now, just need to fix the odd section, it has everything there, just a few parts need highlighting so you dont just read past some of the cool rules like alert.

To those that have bought suits so far, A huge thank you, you have made the forthcomming Panther vehicle and 3 new sets of suits to be possible in the very new future and the start of sculpting on a few other little projects :) so Again a huge thank you.

kind regards Matt

PS all orders over the weekend will be dispatched Tuesday due to bank holiday weekend. but will be sent 1st class to get to you as fast and safe as possible.
