Sabotage by the Fgure Trader?
« on: July 20, 2015, 09:16:37 AM »
Hi people,

I was wondering if anyone knows if the Sabotage game is still available anywhere on the web. I remember reading their battle reports and they always sounded great with some nice and nifty rules...but I never saw the rules themselves. And since I'm working on a Cyberpunk rules set, I'm looking for all kinds of inspiration and in my memory this one would be really helpful.

And does anyone know if their dropship was ever sold by anyone?

(DON'T CLICK IF YOU'RE IN DESPERATE NEED OF AN AWESOME DROPSHIP  :D! It's probably not for sale anywhere... :'( :'()

I have never heard about the game or the dropship being sold on (I have searched high and low for info on the dropship but have found nothing)... some of the miniatures ended up elsewhere (I think HF had one or two).

It is a shame because the dropship was absolutely awesome... and I was waiting for it to go on sale just before the company disappeared :(

Look at all those desperate gamers. LOOK AT THEM!  :'(

All those poor souls, never knowing how desperately they need that particular dropship, and then you come along and post this unobtainable beauty, for all of us to see.

You sir, are a cruel, cruel man...

Oh; and if you even stumble across a spare one, I'll obviously be wanting it...  :D
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

I've got a load of the Kev White minis from the game. Although even smaller in the main than the usual HF casts.

Most of the figures ended up here:

No idea what happened to any of the resin though.

@Earther: thanks! Which ones are the (in)famous Kevvies? Don't see any typical Kev Whites in the catalogue.

Some of Kev's work in SCI-FI16 and 21. There are others, but some pictures are missing.

Cleverly, I think they've spread the KW sculpts amongst the packs.  :?

Thanks! I recognize the ones you're referring to. I scanned some of these packs but didn't spot they were mingled with other sculpts. Shame they're not available separately!

When I saw the thread title I was hoping someone might have a line on the security guard minis... still regret not picking them up. IIRC there was a very nice APC too  :'(

The figure trader was owned by an acquaintance from my gaming club (Steve Esrin). I have not been in contact with him for a while But he is a nice helpful chap and had lots of copies left when he closed shop. He now runs Terragnosis and it looks like there is a contact that would be worth a try. That dropship was a beast! I held one for an "in flight" photo for a future supplement, bloody heavy!

I have those printed rules as well, but, at least in my issue, one page was missing while another one was printed 2 times  ;)

Damn, that's maybe the best dropship I've ever seen.
