Bulldog's Intrepid Chums
« on: 27 July 2015, 02:11:15 AM »
This is one of the leagues we hope to use in the 1930's middle eastern Pulp Alley campaign  planned to start at the back end of August. I'll use the pictures to produce cards for the game, I managed to generate them from Flickrs editing function.
Bulldog’s Intrepid  chums (Company of Heroes – 2pts)

Hugh ‘Bulldog’ Crummond
Former captain in the Kings Own Rutland Rifles he has seen service in the cause of The Empire in many far flung parts of the globe. Man of action and decent chap.

Scot MacTavishFormer sergeant in ‘Bulldog’s’ company. Tough as old boots though several past injuries (mostly sustained saving ‘Bulldogs’ bacon)  has slowed him down a little.

Amy CleverlyDaughter of  ‘Bulldog’s’ former batman Nobby Cleverly, sadly lost in action in ’25 saving the company silverware when ‘Bulldog’s’ camp was overrun by the Mango Chutni tribe during the East Kikapoo  campaign .   Dashed intelligent even if she is a girl, knows a thing or two about this archaeology malarkey, good with the native lingo as well

Dickie FittFormer corporal in the company. Resourceful type of chap- even if its not always clear how he acquires things, jolly good shot as well.

I changed the standard stat lines around a little. Bulldog's not the sharpest tool in the box so I switched his and Amy's 'cunning' stats  to reflect the two characters better
Here's the whole league together

Great looking Pulp Alley league! THANKS for sharing. I really like your card designs - they almost feel like vintage postcards.

Cool idea about swapping a couple stats. I think stuff like that is perfectly acceptable when its done in the right spirit.

I'm looking forward to seeing them in action.  ;)

Love the card design. Leaves no doubt who they represent.

I wonder if I can convince the lads to do the same thing with our games? lol
