The Watch
« on: 31 July 2015, 02:46:11 PM »
Hi Everyone!

Long time lurker so I'd thought I'd better contribute something.
Some soldiers that were designed to be somewhat generic, either hard pressed watchmen,  robber baron's henchmen, or mercenaries.
There are also a few odds and ends that i finished last night. Apologies for the poor photography.

thanks for any comments!

Are the watchmen all converted plastic rangers of middle earth?  They got a cool gritty look to them

yes, with mostly fireforge heads/shields and some perry polearms. gritty and somewhat uniform was pretty much the look I was going for; drab cloaks and kettle helmets all round.

May have to try that with them at some point.  Love the way the wargs came out too.

I like your little band of scruffy guards. The colors look realistic and suitable muted for these lowly men. I agree that they are very versatile... Every leader, good or evil, needs plenty of cannon fodder :)

The wargs are from GW's 'The Hobbit' range. I think they were called fell wargs and were released after the first movie.
